Clifford W. Lawrence and David D. Babineau acquired the assets of de Stecher, Miller & Associates Limited in May 1985 from Claude W. Miller, AACI, and formed de Stecher, Miller & Associates (1985) Limited, now called de Stecher Appraisals Ltd.

Adam G. Dickinson, AACI took over Mr. Lawrence's role as an owner and director in May 2016. Gary L. Tobin, CRA joined the ownership team and became a director in June 2017.

K. Christopher Lawton was a director of the company from 1989 (following attainment of his CRA designation) until 2017, when he retired from the company. Douglas G. Wort, AACI and the former staff of Brunswick Appraisals Ltd. joined the company in 1993. Mr. Wort retired from the company in 2013.
